Oil light flickers or more at idle - I run 20-50 even in the winter to keep it to a minium and also run the idle a little higer then spec, car has 137k. I am pretty sure this car was abused regard to getting regular oil changes. Also has a rear main leak - not to bad but looses a quart between oil changes... so low oil pressure caused by bad oil pump? or worn main bearings? or could turbo be passing to much oil by bearings? At some point I may get sick of leaking rear main and pull the trans or well see what I have to do to change it... while I'm at that would one think I should put in a new oil pump. Engin has the nomal FT piston slap but otherwise I'd say its normal and runs well. Maybe like the old fords and dodges we drove as kids I should just ignor it.. that is the idiot light or just make believe the idiot lights bad... lie I doubt it... looking for your thoughts or comments - maybe others have had this same problem -thanx
