Car simply dies for no reason 700 1989

I have a 760 turbo. It will start right up without a fuss. For some odd reason, it will simply die. It does it instantly, like you turned off the key. It doesn't do it once it warms up, however, sometimes it will die if i let off of the gas suddenly when i am stopped or moving slowly. If it doesn't die, the rpm bounces back and forth till the engine recovers. Any ideas? Car has new main pump, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, mass air unit, air intake hoses, and fuel filter.
