960 Car Alarm screwed up 900 1997

my '97 960 sedan has been having some problems with the alarm. I was unable to install keyless entry last summer b/c of some kind of circuit problem. Recently and twice a few months ago, i have turned the key to open the car, opened the door, and the alarm has gone off. I'm then unable to start the car, and am forced to wait 5 minutes to try again.. occationally when lucky, it works the third try with the same key. it really angers me since i'm forced to wait in a 10 degree parking lot or car. Has anyone else had or heard of similar problems, please help me.
