I recently had a minor collision where I rear-ended the left corner of a minivan's rear bumper with the right corner of the front bumper of our 1990 740 wagon. We were traveling about 10 miles per hour. The only visible damage to our car is a 6-8 inch crack in the bumper, but the airbag also was deployed. I can get a replacement steering wheel with fresh airbag from a local junkyard (Blake's Salvage, Erie, CO) for $175. Is replacing this something that should be left to a professional, or can a Volvo tinker figure it out with help from a discussion board?
Thanks - Andy
