So as i was at the wrecker today to get a new pivot for my wipers (which incidentally work PERFECT now, thanks everyone who told me to do that) I found a '83 GLE with all the gauges still in place! I took out the big tach, the small clock, the oil pressure, oil temp, and volts, as well as all wiring harnesses that go with them. I had called volvo a bit ago asking about these, and they said they ran about $100-150 each gauge. THe guy at the wrecker must not have known that cuz he gave me them, a new door handle, wiper pivot, Carpet cover that goes above your feet and a bunch of assorted things for $45!!!!!
Now all i gotta do is remember how to wire them up. I still have to get the new sender units, but i'll pick those up soon. The only real question i have now is that the only wiring harness that seemed to come out of the tach, went to the clock? I'm not sure if that's exactly how it worked, but i'm 95% sure. Anyone have experience hooking these things up? Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!!!
