No start after replacing timing belt and front oil seals 200 1985

I have a B230F engine. I got the crankshaft seal on totally flush and put silicone sealant over the cracked seal housing. I reassembled the timing belt stuff, reconnected the air mass mater (originally to access the AC pump), checked everything else. Now the car won't start. The starter is trying and sounds strong. The battery is 12.6 Volts. Fan/alternator belt tension is normal. Crankshaft and distributor are moving. Fuses are fine. Why won't the car start?
