242 ignition swap-eroo 200

Folks -

The electronic ignition on my '82 242 has pissed me off one too many times. The Haynes manual conveniently skipped that year, and I decided to convert over to pertronix.

The volvo distributor shaft is different from the lobed shaft on points-style bosch distributors. I managed to swap in a shaft from a 60-something BMW bosch distributor and clearance the pertronix to fit on the volvo mounting plate.

Question is - did I drop a spring somewhere, or did the volvo distributor only have one centrifugal advance spring? a big beefy one.
