FRONG SIGNALS HELP 700 1987

so, i got in the most minor of fender benders when my foot slipped off the break and a bus' rear bumepr hit my fender: the plastic shields on my front corner signal lights are slightly cracked and now the signals don't light when signalling, just the idiot lights below them. I wanna fix this without going to a shop and paying hundreds of dollars for labor. Any suggestions? Thanks
