Hi Everyone,

I just bought a '92 940 GL with 87'000 miles after a long drought of Volvolessness. Back when I was young, rich and good-looking, I used to own a S70 T5 but regretably had to part with it after my last layoff.

To the point, I'm in search of some sources for interior parts. A trusted Volvo mechanic gave the car a clean bill of health mechanically and structurally before I bought it, so I'm not worried about that, and Carfax turned up nothing of consequence, however:

1) The switch to the right of the foglight combo switch appears to have no function. (Power antenna I'm guessing since the Euroglyph on it looks like the "signal strength" indicator on my Nokia mobile phone) Additionally, the Defroster switch indicator light does not work. Since it has been unusually warm this week and there has been no frost, I can't verify if the defroster is working either. Where to get switches?

2) Motor for the sunroof does not appear to work-- I hear the relay clicking when I hit the switch, but no motor sounds, and the roof doesn't budge? Any ideas where to get the motor?

3) Where to get a headliner? The existing one is covered (caked) with a black, greasy substance above the drivers seat. If I had to speculate, I'd say the previous owner was very tall and didn't wash his hair often. (just the thought of that repulses me as much as the sight of the gunk on the headliner.)

Eventually I'll want to replace the passenger's seat since the vinyl on the side of it is messed up, as well as the driver's door panel (map pouch broken off) but those can wait for later I think. I bought the car for well below blue book, so I don't mind a few projects here and there.

I'd prefer not to buy this stuff from the local Volvo dealer, since I recall their prices from my S70 days.

Any advice/ideas are greatly appreciated!
