Dome Light turns on the courtesy bell 200 1988

When I try to turn on the dome light the courtesy bell comes on.
Also when I try to operate the power locks the courtesy bell comes on.
The light and the locks do not operate. The clock has also stopped working.
Obviously there is a short somewhere.
Anyone see this before?
A narrow search would be a great help.
