Broken Muffler Pipe 200

I noticed that my muffler pipe completely sheared off about 1" in front of the front edge of the rear muffler. The rear muffler is fine (ie the clamps supporting it to the frame are ok. There are no other problems and I don't want to subsidize Midas. I already tried the muffler wrap, but that broke off (as the muffler pipe is completely separated from the muffler). The outer diameter of the muffler pipe is 53 mm, if that helps any. I don't have welding equipment. I was hoping to find a larger piece of muffler pipe and put it between the two separated halves. Any other ideas?
