MSD, bad idle. 200 1983

I just installed an MSD box in my 240 with b23f and now it idles REALY bad. Before it was ok. Any one else installed one of these? Also even before I installed it, it would have lots of power one day and the next day it will have none. Also I only have 11.9 volts with out the car running and while running I only have 13.8 max.
