Springs 700

Hello all,

I have a 1990 740 GLE sedan with roughly 187K miles on it. I have recently replaced both the rear shocks and front struts with Bilsteins all around and love them. Now here is my question... should I put in new springs soon too. I do not know the dynamics behind spring life all that well (Didn't do too well in physics :-) ) so I am not sure how much life mine have left, if any. IPD sells the lowering sport springs which are, I fear, too stiff for a daily driver but I do plan on putting them on eventually. Is it worth the money to go with standard springs now and then in a year or two get the sport or is the ride not all that bad such that I can do them now. I will be living and comuting in the southern PA/MD/northern VA area so maybe the roads won't be bad enough to notice the stiffer ride.

On to question 2... If I DO go with the standard springs are the overload springs neccesary as I only have a sedan? or are straight stock the best route to take here as well. Thanks in advance, as always I value any advice recieved from the board.

Neil
