can anything get damaged replacing motor mounts? 900

just finished replacing the mounts and as you know the engine is cranked up a bit.i did it only enough to get the mounts out and my question is does anything get pinched or bent during the process.i also had the trans mount and as it turns out i was given the wrong one.i got a little ticked off over this so i had to stop so it's still in the air and couldn't be started or driven.i really dont like to do a job twice especially when it's not my fault.another question is i can still move the engine side to side as much as with the old mounts.the mounts installed looked identical as the originals and had the volvo part # on them.the guy i usually get my parts from is strictly a volvo tech and alot of the parts i get from him are volvo parts just a little cheaper.
