Yeah What a hard job to put in an alternator for my 92 240. We got a used alty from an 1987 240 in the boneyard. It works great but it wasn't fun to put that sucker in the car. The stupid grounds and other little cables on the back of the alternator are a pain in the neck to get on. That stupid little nut is so small it is ridiclous. What were the Volvo engineers thinking when they put this together!
