Turbo Noise 700 1989

1989 760 Turbo Sedan
Garret Water Cooled

When my turbo boosts, it sounds like a dentist drill. It is a very loud high pitched whine. Oil level is fine. I use synthetic. I can't see anything wrong with it from a quick look, but I realize that it's hard to find anything without a much clocer look. Anybody have any ideas?
