Electric doors lock by theirself 700 1989

On my 89 volvo gl my doors will lock when i pull the handle on the outside of the car. Let me explain. I walk up to the car, stick the key in and unlock the doors. When I pull the handle to open the door they lock back. So i have to hold the key and pull the nob at the same time to open the door. Does anybody know if something is just loose or do I need to replace something. Thanks
