Cranks but doesn't start. 200 1976

I really hope someone can give me some advice. I'll try to make this short. Recently, when I have been driving my car, when I stop and it is in drive it will idle very roughly and usually stall unless I put it into neutral. When I drive at higher speeds it drives fine. I noticed my car has been more difficult to start, and yesterday it won't start at all, it cranks but doesn't fire. I've been told maybe the fuel pump, or maybe my timing belt. Any advice?
