Died on Road and won't re-start. Please help! 200 1989

This AM, I was driving down the street and the car seemed to lose power. I stepped on the gas, but it didn't respond. It seemed to go "put, put," then died. The OBD-I read "1-1-1" which revealed no problems. Battery, starter, alternator, spark, relays, and fuses are ok. What am I missing?
