Greetings
Recently the transmission cooler in my radiator failed (a new genuine Volvo radiator only 2 years old!!). This of course meant that the trans fluid and the coolant mixed resulting in them both becoming milky. The mechanic repaired this and flushed the system extensively. In doing so he probably went through about 15-20 litres of trans fluid (I saw the fluid after it had come out). The trans gear changes are fine, but few days later I noticed that the trans fluid was still a little milky - certainly not bright red as I am used to. Coolant is fine. Should I just flush more fluid through it using the trans cooler return line method? Is it necessary to drop the transmission pan as described in the FAQ.
Regards
Roger
