I recently rebuilt the top end of the engine on my 86 760 turbo and replaced the turbo.
Since the rebuild, the car starts fine when cold and runs fine on the highway. After the engine is warm, if I turn it off and try to restart, it is very difficult to catch and run. I have to hold the throttle all the way to the floor while cranking and it will eventually catch.
After finally starting, the car runs fine on the road and idles fine. It's just the warm starting, reminds me of vapor lock in an engine with a carb rather than FI. Any ideas?
Thanks!
