Hello all. I'm back home and trying to catch up on a year or so worth of complete neglect to the wife's car. In the last week the transmission has begun holding 2nd or 3rd gear after hard acceleration. If I baby it, it shifts normally but after any WOT acceleration it will hold the gear that its in for anywhere from 5 seconds up to several minutes. It got pretty bad yesterday and would hold 2nd until I wound it up to 4500 rpm or so. That seemed to force it to shift. Did the same thing in 3rd except I couldn't repeat the procedure without running the risk of getting a speeding ticket.

The car has 120K miles on it and I flushed the fluid about 20K miles ago. I did not change the filter, which I plan on doing this week. I got the car with 90K on it and partial service records that indicated that the PO had held up his end maintenance wise up until about the last year before trading it.
