Adjusting the wastegate 700 1988

I am the proud owner of a 1988 760 Turbo Wagon. I have been reading about adjusting the wastegate to increase/decrease boost. There is something mentioned about a spring that is adjusted. Is this referring to the spring thingy in the Airbox or am I way off? If so where is this adjusted?
