I want to thank all those who have been helping me along. Y'all are great and of tremendous help in a pinch. While changing the oil on my '88 240 yesterday I explored the transmission leak that I have been slowly noticing. The area near the catalytic converter is splattered with ATV. It seems to have melted some of the black tar undercoating. I was not able to get close enough to see what was leaking due to time restraints. I was wondering of you guys could please give me a clue what might be leaking ATV in that are and what can I do to repair this. Where do I start? Thanks in advance.
