ive got a '91 euro spec 940GL wagon. I find the tailgate gives a lot of resistance to being opened. The struts will olny hold it up past around 60-70 degrees from the closed position. I think this is a gradual thing as i cant remember how it used to work. Can anyone suggest any quick fixes? i cant be bothered buying new gas struts, its not worth the cost.
