My fiancee is looking to replace her old piece of junk camaro with a Volvo. We have the opportunity to pick up a 760 turbo on the cheap. THe thing is, the VIN number denotes it's a 760, so it should be a 6 cylinder, right? The rub is the engine looks like a 4 banger in the picture we have. It's straight, and I can only see 3 sparkplug wires.

I'm not sure if the 6 was a v-6 or a I-6, but the engine in this car is certainly a I-something, it's definitely not a V. As I said, with only 3 sparkplug wires I can see in the picture, It's hard to tell.

We're thinking of getting this car by Auction on Ebay. It's our second time doing so, and the first car we got on EBAY was great, a Toyota Land Cruiser exactly as described...

But this one has me scratching my head....

any fast advice would be greatly appreciated, as it's ending today in a few hours,.
