I just bought a '91 740 Turbo,automatic,with 96,000 miles. There are times when it does not want to idle after starting, usually when already warmed up, but it only happens once in a while. The main problem is that it accelerates fine at any throttle position up to about 3/4, but if the accelerator is pushed to the floor it kicks down a gear, but then stays at that speed without accelerating at all. Any suggestions?
