Timing Belt Replacement 700 1992

Greetings!

I replaced the timing belt on my '92 740 the other day. All went reasonably well. The car starts fine, and revs up fine in nuetral. However, acceleration is sluggish. When I went to drive away initial acceleration was poor. Once I got the car up to about 2000 rpm acceleration seemed a bit better. Any thoughts?
