I bought a Volvo exhaust kit for my 740 wagon today. The exhaust kit came with two mufflers, two pipes, and four clamps and cost $147.23 at the dealership. The mounting bracket included 4 rubber hangers and two muffler brackets and that cost an additional $23.64, for a total of $170.87 (tax included). Since I am a carpenter, I removed the old exhaust with my Milwaukee sawsall and a 6" metal cutting blade. Unfortunately, someone had welded the cat to the pipe coming from the the old forward muffler so I had to sawsall it off to a clean spot in the pipe. I lost 4" of pipe by doing this, so I went to the auto parts store and bought a 3-1/2" long round extension and a couple of 2-1/8" clamps. I also added some muffler sealant to try and assure this extension wouldn't leak since it wasn't quite as good a fit as I would have liked. The whole job took me around 4 hours, but that included 45 minutes to get the extension, and also would have gone faster if this hadn't been my first time at an exhaust system. The Volvo parts fit together very nice.
