after reviewing all the postings and reading the 700/900 info. I came to an 80% conclusion that my a/c problem is in the a/c condenser fan. can you help me to ID the problem.
my 1990 745 has a converted 134 system that I did it myself recently [many thanks to Dave Urban re instruction to conversion]. When first turned on, the a/c would work nicely [not great, but nicely].
then about 10 minutes later, the system would blow regular air, not cold at all.
I looked at the a/c condenser fan through the grill and it was not moving at all. After reading the 700/900 info, there was a posting about the a/c condenser fan that it should be on at all time...since my fan was not on when the a/c is on, then the problem must be the condenser fan. Cost to replace is $211 plus my saturday afternoon unless I can pull one from the junk yard.
can anyone give me their opinion on this issue?
thanks a million!!!
