Fuel pump interchangeability 700

I am having a B280 installed in a 1986 760 . I have got all the necessary looms, computers etc. The fuel pump is the original for the old K-Jet injection, but I am not sure if it will operate the LH-Jet injection correctly.
Can anyone advise 1/ If this is going to work. 2/ How to get around this without spending a fortune?

I am in New Zealand and parts are big bucks for these.I know the obvious thing would be to purchase the correct pump, but Bosch gear is serious dough down here, if you can get it.

Is there a site where the specifications are to be found ( pressures /flow etc)so I can perhaps get a Japanese equivilent?
