I guess it's always fun to discover the weird things that went on with your car's under the helm of the previous owner. In my case today, the rear wheel bearings were different between the sides - tapered on one, flat on the other.
I think I'm just going to pull a whole rear axle from the JY to get rid of that mystery. Besides, it'll be cheaper than just getting a pair of new bearing kits + shop time.
And depending on its age/condition, I might just be able to get away with putting off doing the RTA's for yet another year. :)
