Found oil in my accordian hose...why? 200 1979

My '79 244 DL is suffering from slow acceleration so I was checking for vacum leaks. I removed the hose that goes from the air filter to the throttle body and noticed oil was inside of it. I was just wondering if this is normal or is there something wrong.
