86' 245 speedometer, and blower

The electronic speedometer is not registering. The odometer seems to be working fine, registering 164,000. These two are both getting their information from the pickup in the differential?

Does this mean that the speedo should be replaced or could it be a connection, or something else?

It is very faint but I think that the blower fan is off when switch is in off position. The rest of the switch increments work. Any ideas?
