My son will be graduating and starting a job in California this summer. He's interested in shopping for a used car (with his car-expert Dad) here on the East Coast and bringing it with him. So one question is: how hard will it be to get a late-model Volvo from New York through emissions inspection in CA. I understand CA regs are tougher.
