ARIES wheels on a sedan (with more rare stuff)! (pics) 200

Today I spotted a 240 sedan bearing a trifecta of rare options!

I've seen this car once before on my school's campus. It has a rear spoiler (I presume OEM), the red rear accessory plate (I've only seen two others, both in town), and Aries alloy wheels. I've never seen that type of wheel EVER, and I've certainly never seen all three things on the same car.

I forgot to check important stuff like mileage (didn't want to linger too much) or whether it had power windows, but I did notice it had just a plain cloth interior. However, it did have a power antenna. I thought it was a bit strange that the purchaser would get the other extras and pass up leather seats, but whatever.

Can you guys help me with more info on the car? What year is it? Is the spoiler OEM? What model (just says "240")? Where Aries wheels completely an option that had to be requested, or did it come standard on certain models like Coronas did on GLs? Has anyone had experience with Aries? How do they drive/compare to other wheels?

I LOVE that accessory plate and spoiler!

Aries wheels--like Coronas, but bigger (and probably easier to clean!).

The car is a blue that is a tad different from the OEM blue on my 240 sedan (can't remember if this is lighter or darker).

If there's anything else I should check out on the car, then let me know! Today was the second time I've seen it on campus, so it's either a student or worker's car; either way, it'll be back for at least the rest of the school year. It was quite a rush to have a chance to check it out again, and if I notice it, I'll definitely go out of my way to ogle again!
