Horn died suddenly 900 1993

As I was encouraging other motorists to drive properly the other day :)
the horn worked for a millisecond, and then stopped, but I thought I heard an audible click like a fuse popping. Fuse #15 (according tho the chart for the horn) appears ok. I've read the FAQ and searched the past posts, and it seems most horn problems are related to corrosion on either the contacts on the buttons, or at the horns. But does the sudden loss seem consistent with coroosion?

Thanks, Tom
