Hi - My name is Barbara and I have a question regarding my daughter's
Volvo, (which she loves). She is moving to Southern Colorado (Durango) this
summer to go to college. We live in Southern California now and will be
driving to Colorado in June or July. Her Volvo is a 1986/240 sedan with
about 160,000 miles, and runs great and does not burn oil. Do you think
that this car will be ok at 6,000 ft, and going thru the rocky-mountains,
and snow in the winters? Here in California it's mostly flat where we live
and the car runs great. We are having the car checked out and new tires
before we leave. I have considered having it transported to Colorado, but
that does cost extra money. We would like to drive it there, but we are
unsure. Could you please give us your advice?
Thanking you in advance,
