So I went to put new rotors on my car today, but the store sold me the wrong ones. They gave me vented rotors and my car needs solid. Rather then return them I would rather upgrade to vented rotors. This is due to the fact that I found that 3 of my front brake pistons are seized! I saw a lot of Volvos in the junk yard on monday that had really nice calipers on them. THe question is, what years can I use on my 83 and will I need to use different pads. Right now I have Girling with 4 piston calipers. I also have a brand new set of pads so I'd like to keep with the same type of pad for simplicity of getting new ones next time.
