swapping in a used engine 200

Hellow all, I got an engine out of an early 740.(164,000 miles) I wanna' put it in my '86 240. my question is what do I want to do to this motor while I have it out?? I am thinking all gaskets,seals. timing belt,waterpump,clutch and motormounts. I am especially concerned about erosion/corrosion of the headgasket sealing surface and what in the hell is a "flametrap" Thank you all for any advise Tim Fisher
