calling all turbos knock knock 700

Hey my 86 740 turbo with intercooler ( by the way this was the first volvo model with 60 seris tires. It also sports an egg crate grill that takes its
styling cue back to the p-1800) real nice period piece but when you have your head under the hood and you accelerate the engine you hear a knock knock.
Is this the legendary turbo knock i've heard so much about. and what two metal parts might be banging together. It's doesn't seem like much to woory about but
it would be cool to hear if anyone else has heard the knock.
