84 245 leaking AT 200 1984

The leak is coming from the engine end of the transmission. How do I tell if it is a bad torque convertor? I have checked all the standard leaks as pointed out in IPD and the Bently book. If it is the torque convertor, what is the most economical fix? The transmission only has 307.000 miles!!
