pre-pump advice for 240 turbo 200 1983

I will have to go into the fuel tank to replace the sending unit and thought I would replace the pre-pump while I have everything out of the tank on this 21 year old vehicle. I am looking at two units from aftermarket suppliers and am hoping for some advice on selection. One is a VDO from Volvoworld and the other is Scantech from FCP-Groton. Any information on quality, direct fit, etc, of either much appreciated. Prices are roughly comparable so that is not the issue. Thanks for any input.
