Premature blower motor failure? 700 1985

I have replaced my blower motor under the dash on the side of the passenger side wall two times in the past year and half. I cant afford to keep replacing it. Everytime the motor starts to squeal and make nasty noises before it begins to go. Is there something causing these fans to go early?
