Who out there has sucessfully boosted their 240 horsepower to a notable degree. 'seems like there is a lot of room for improvement, in that its such a weel made engine. Mine is a non-turbo 88. I have one poster who added a turbo quite sucessfully on top of the stock fuel injection, ignition, and fuel delivery system. I don't see why 175-200 horses couldn't be gotten with reliability. Look at the gains you can make in any SBC or SBF, for example. Does anyone but Volvo make cams for these? Who is the cylinder head guru out there? I have a small block ford in the garage I could put in there, but I really like my little four, I just want some more kick going up hills and passing. Our other car is an 850R, and while not"fast", is plenty strong for my tastes.
