1991 740 Turbo Wagon - bucking/vibration under breaking...driveshaft? 700 1991

Hello all - this is my first post and I'm looking for a little insight. I have a 1991 740 Turbo wagon with 96,000 miles on it. It has had a vibration or bucking sensation under breaking, especially at high speeds, since I bought it a couple years ago with 50,000 miles. At 60,000 miles, I did a brake job - changed front and rear pads and front rotors. It seemed to improve for a while, but the problem quickly returned and now its so bad the car is almost undrivable. I have checked the suspension and drivetrain for any loose or worn parts, but everything looks OK. Front control arm stay bushings (cone shaped) are poly replacements. The vibration felt is mostly in the brake pedal, but the shifter (auto) moves front to rear in unison with the vibration, especially at slower speeds. During acceleration or at steady speed, car is smooth as can be. Could this be related to the driveline in some way? Could the front (replacements) or rear brake rotors (originals) be warped? I hate to throw parts at the problem, but I'm not sure how to go about diagnosing it. Thanks in advance for any help! Mark
