Rear brakes bleed fine, 1 of 4 on front, then dry well 700 1987

Feeling stupid (inexperienced?) here, and would appreciate your help.

Our 1987 745 is on car stands, and it's good time to flush the brake fluid.
Rears were a success, with a homebrew cap + valve + bike tire pump on the brake fluid reservoir. Easy pressure; afraid to overdo it.

Then the lower right front bleeder was good as well, both by that method, and by some foot action on the brake pedal. (A little variety. And no push on the pedal more than an inch or so.)

But now nothing anywhere else: open the bleeders, and push as much as I like on the brake pedal, and nothing. The pedal doesn't move much... stops... and no fluid comes out of the other bleeders when I open them and press on the brake pedal.

What am I missing, please?

Thanks much!
