Steering rack replacement....any helpful hints. 200 1988

Well, it's getting about time to replace the rack.....been reading up some and
it doesn't seem like rocket science.........but.........is there anything to
watch out for, ...sounds like a good time to replace the steering u-joint....
any thoughts would be appreciated.............tia............j.
