Misfiring and backfiring 700 1988

Hello, my 760 turbo wagon has been giving me some troubles after installing new plugs. I recently put in some Bosch +4's and a set of new magnecore wires. And I also recently installed a custom 2 1/2" exaust constisting of a basically straight pipe and no muffler from the cat back. Anyway I have been getting some backfiring when I release the accelerator and the rpms are between 1500-2000. Also the engine will misfire (or what seems like misfiring) after driving around 30 and more minutes in high rpms.
