'92 heater valve adjustment? 200

hey all,

Warm air seems to always emit from the vents even though the valve is in the fully cool side of the adjuster...so some coolant is being allowed to circulate in the heater core. My friend suggested that a valve adjustment screw on the valve can help this, anyone know anything about this?
